The Importance of Story

We believe that stories are one of the most forming realities that God has made. The stories told in congregations communicate the heart, vision and culture of Redemption Church more than a series of statements ever could.

R/Gateway | Ripple

We are not individuals uninfluenced be those around us. In this story from Redemption Gateway, we see the ways God uses our relationships to speak to us and heal our relationship to Him.

R/Gilbert | Stronghold

What does a church leader do when his faith is in crisis – when he doubts the very existence of God? What is it like to stand in front of crowds, and encourage them to believe and celebrate something which you may not believe yourself? This is the story of the creation of the song Stronghold by Jed Maughan, worship leader at Redemption Gilbert

R/Alhambra | Moises’ Story

Jose Moises Felix, Jr. was 21-year-old young man who took a pill thinking it was Percocet when in fact was Fentanyl – a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine. His mother Lupe, found him in his room the next morning – dead. This is both a cautionary tale, and an inspiring story of lived love.
