Purpose: Neighbors Table focuses on bridging culture and loving the other neighbors in our community that we may forget, overlook, mistreat, or marginalize. This is a half day event that takes place in the classroom and out in the community. Teaching time will focus specifically on God’s heart for all people, and time out in the community will be spent in prayer and around the table with diverse groups that we normally may not have relationship with (Muslims, Refugees, Global Churches, People Experiencing Homelessness, etc). Be shaped by God’s love for us and learn His love for all peoples as we better understand culture and how to move toward our neighbors with compassion.
